Following classroom instruction, students are divided into two groups for “hands on application” to create kits. Each group is given “special considerations” for their specific family such as having a dog, a baby or a medically dependent adult.
- Assembles a Go Kit
- Family leaves home for 72 hours
- Assembles a Shelter-in-Place Kit
- Family needs to stay in home for 72 hours
Students are then partnered up, broken into teams and participate in an interactive trivia game to test their knowledge.
